Career[]
Lannan would drop out of high school at age 15 and start working in his family's construction business, under the name "CrushSlash" he would originally post slow motion demolition videos on YouTube but his recording equipment got stolen.
After his equipment was stolen Lannan would make his YouTube channel 'LazarBeam' on the 5th of January, 2015, fast forward a month Lannan would make his upload his first video to the channel titled "Can Vince Wilfork get a 99 yard Receiving Touchdown? - Madden NFL Challenge" the video is simply a challenge for Lannan where he has to get Vince Wilfork a 99 yard touchdown reception. After this he'd upload very often on various games but the main focus being Grand Theft Auto V and Madden. On the 2nd of July after surpassing 50,000 subscribers on the channel he would reveal his face to YouTube, he'd celebrate the milestone in the video and also talk about channel updates, the video today sits on 2.4M views.
Lannan would branch his content out to other games more often, his GTA 5 videos were notoriously gaining alot more views than his other videos and on in August 2015 he'd reach 100,000 subscribers and make a video on it celebrating said milestone. Just 2 months after that he'd reach 200,000 subscribers, his GTA 5 mods videos were gaining notorious popularity amongst his other videos and standing out more.
Entering 2016 he would be uploading every day and sometimes twice in one day, it paid off tho as Lannan was getting hundreds of thousands of views every day as people came to love his vibe and funny tone to his videos, he would reach 500,000 subscribers on the 30th of June, 2016 and was now half way to 1 million.
In 2017 Lannan would finally reach 1,000,000 subscribers on the channel, at this point he was still uploading every 1-3 days and gaining millions of views, often getting viral videos of over 10 million views, he would later that year also upload his first string of Fortnite videos. 2017 would be a year of normal growth for Lannan and be another one of his notorious years.
2018 was the year the popular video game 'Fortnite' took the internet by storm, Lannan was one of the popular figureheads in the 2018 rise of Fortnite as a notorious figure for his wacky challenges he puts himself through in the game. He would of course upload Fortnite all year during 2018 but it wouldn't be until late June that it really started boosting his subscribers, his challenge videos on Fortnite would soon begin to explode and on average was getting 10-20 million views a video on it, he would also post one of his most popular videos during this shedding light on the media trying to ban Fortnite because it's too 'violent'. Because of the explosion from Fortnite his average subscribers a day in late 2018 skyrocketted from 5K/day to 40K-50K/day with exceptional boosts, ultimately peaking at 1.5M subscribers in the month of June. Thanks to the large increase in growth Lannan would jump the Most Subscribed Australian ranks and end the year at 5th place.
Lannan's momentum would continue strong in 2019, his channel would surpass 10,000,000 subscribers in April 2019 being the 2nd Australian Channel to do so, in the process by July 2019 he would be the 3rd most-subscribed YouTube Fortnite streamer with more than 10.8 million subscribers. In August 2019 the 10th Season of Fortnite would release but Lannan along with other streamers were critical of it, the season would introduce "B.R.U.T.E" which was a mechanical suit with missiles and a giant shotgun, everyone criticized this for being way too overpowered and unbalanced. Following the season's release Lannan's content slowly shifted more towards Minecraft which was notoriously 'revived' by PewDiePie among gaming and lesser Fortnite videos popped up as he was disappointed with the updates.
In December 2019, Lannan was acknowledged in YouTube's 2019 Rewind as the 8th most viewed content creator of the year with 2 billion views, in 2019. He would react to this in a video.

Also in 2020 the COVID-19 pandemic would emerge and millions around the world would be forced to stay in-doors, because of this YouTube's users would skyrocket and so would channels growth. Lannan saw a 'second wind' of subscribers and views in early 2020, he would peak at 900,000+ subscribers gained in May and hit an all time high of 409M+ views gained in that same month.
