MrBeast 2 is the fourth active YouTube channel by MrBeast. This channel consists of videos of MrBeast and the crew doing things from which the videos wouldn't fit in other channels. For instance, the main channel is about challenges, MrBeast Gaming is about gaming, Beast Reacts is about reaction videos, and Beast Philanthropy is about documenting the team's charity acts. As of January 2023, this channel gained a total of 18 million subscribers.
The content of the channel consists of two main parts: the bigger part of the channel consists of shorts where the videos are short (under a minute) and vertical, much like on TikTok. In these shorts, MrBeast and his friends tend to doing random things, often comedic. The other main part of the channel are longer miscellaneous videos that wouldn't otherwise fit on any other channel.
The reason why this channel has two types of content is because of the fact that there was an already existing channel that was also called "MrBeast 2", which only had the first few longer miscellaneous videos that the current channel has (the channel that used to be MrBeast 2 was now renamed to MrBeast 3 and has the same profile picture as the main channel, but it is now inactive and has all of its content deleted). Moreover, there was also the existence of the channel MrBeast Shorts, which really is the previous version of the current MrBeast 2 channel but it only had short videos.
History[]
Made on August 21, 2020, Jimmy made this channel under the name MrBeast Shorts for posting his short videos. These videos are made for people who like watching shorts but can't because of TikTok being banned, like in India. He posts such videos on YouTube so that they can reach both his YouTube and TikTok audiences.
Like the other channels (MrBeast Gaming, Beast Reacts) and projects (MrBeast Burger), it was made as an additional source of income for his main channel's videos, in which after each video, Jimmy gradually budgets hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars for the main channel's videos, not factoring paying his employees and doing taxes. However, this channel makes less income than what his other channels and projects can do, because these videos are too short to put any additional advertisements in the middle of the video, but they are good for significantly gaining a larger audience.
Channel merge[]
Before later in 2022, there were two existing channels: MrBeast Shorts and MrBeast 2. In later 2022, the MrBeast Shorts channel was renamed to MrBeast 2 and the older MrBeast 2 channel's content was merged to the current MrBeast 2 channel, with MrBeast 2 being renamed to MrBeast 3 with the profile picture of the main channel and having no publicly available videos there. In addition to the change, the icon of the channel, which was like a brightened version of the logo of the main channel, was changed to reflect the design of the beast like what the MrBeast Gaming and the Beast Reacts channels have. The logo looks now more like a more cyan/brightened version of the MrBeast Gaming logo with only two light shades of cyan/blue instead of several shades/gradients.

Trivia[]
- The channel icon was essentially the brighter version of that of the main MrBeast channel, until the MrBeast Shorts and MrBeast 2 channels merged. Now, it looks more like a brightened version of the MrBeast Gaming logo.
- This channel alone has inspired hundreds, if not thousands of other YouTubers, to create a shorts channel for themselves (e.g. Dream created the "Dream Shorts" channel).
- In a recent MrBeast 2 short, it was revealed MrBeast recorded a short of him and the Beast Gang visiting Epstein Island for an exclusive challenge. In this challenge the last person to leave the island wins an exclusive, first pick of top tier prized "contestants".
