Would You Rather Have A Giant Diamond or $100,000 is a video created by MrBeast. This video is another "would you rather" type of video that showcases subscribers doing "would you rather" expensive challenges.

Description[]

"I cant believe i spent this much again...." ― Official video description

Plot[]

  • The first clip shows a "would you rather" question about two choices, asked a subscriber named "John Jarmin": a giant diamond worth $38,000 or a paycheck worth $100,000 (although the latter was hidden before John chose). John chose the $38,000 diamond.
  • A man was given the challenge to guess the number of jelly beans in a jar, and they would win a million dollars if he guessed correctly. He guessed 72,368 beans, but in reality, there were only 8,171 beans.
  • Another person named Andre was given a room and thousands of red cups. For every cup he put on the floor or stacked, he gets a dollar. At 7:49, it was revealed that Andre covered around the room with stacked cups. At 11:50, Andre filled and stacked up almost the entire room, but a few dozen cups were accidentally dropped. At 12:31, Andre practically finished up this challenge and had over 4,700 cups stacked up. Although he was supposed to earn $4,700, MrBeast decided to give out extra money by rounding up the reward to $5,000.
  • In the next challenge, a different person had to pick a number between 1 and 20, and he guessed 15, so he gets to destroy the ice cube containing a briefcase with $10,000 15 times, using a pickaxe, but he failed to get the briefcase out, so another contestant, who is named Felix, was given the same challenge with 10 amount of tries, and on the 6th try, he destroyed the ice cube and got it out of its position. It is still considered as a victory for Felix.
  • The next challenge features two brothers, plenty of basketball goals, and plenty of prizes with some being expensive. For every goal they make, they get to claim any prize they like, but if they miss once, they lose everything. The brother with the yellow shirt put it once, then the one with the black shirt did so as well, then it was the yellow shirt brother's turn again and he missed. However, the brother with the black shirt did get three goals after that. Later on, Chandler did the same challenge and got 9 goals in a row before missing on the tenth shot.
  • In the challenge after that, a contestant was given six eggs, based on the game Dragon City (which was also the sponsor of the video), and if the egg chosen has confetti, they gain $1,000, and the money is doubled for every egg with confetti. However, out of the six eggs, five of them have confetti and only one has slime, and if the one with the smile was chosen, he would lose all of the money. The contestant was lucky enough to choose all of the five eggs with confetti and won the maximum prize of $16,000.
  • In the next challenge, Karl and Chris have to run a race and a person was asked who would win the race. They chose Chris, guessed correctly, and won $10,000.
  • In the challenge after that, there are three colored buckets: one blue, one red, and one yellow. One is filled with mustard, one is filled with slime, and one is filled with money. Isaiah, the challenger, could choose where Karl and Chris could go. Chris went under the yellow bucket (filled with mustard), Karl went under the blue bucket (filled with slime) and Isaiah went under the red bucket, which was filled with money ($10,000), making him win this challenge.
  • The next challenge is rather a relationship challenge, featuring a couple named "Matt" and "Elizabeth". They were separated to answer three questions each, and if they got the same answer, they win $15,000 (although before the end of the challenge, only Matt was informed about the prize). They were both asked "Where was your first date?" and they both answered it was in Town Common. The second question was about the middle name of Elizabeth, and they both answered "Cerelle". The last question is about Matt's proposal with Elizabeth and he wants to do it at the time he was doing the challenge, and the final question would be, with both being together again, about Elizabeth proposing to Matt. She accepted and they won $15,000.
  • The last giveaway is about two cars: one is real and the other is basically ramen noodle packets organized into a car shape. The subscriber who was given the challenge chose for the car made out of ramen noodle packets. She didn't win anything.

Thumbnail[]

The thumbnail originally showed MrBeast grinning in the middle of the thumbnail. The left side shows the choice of the giant diamond and the other choice shows $100,000. The thumbnail was changed to show MrBeast seemingly holding the diamond and smiling with his mouth open

Errors[]

  • At one scene the camera blured a bit at 3:36.
